The Wubim Foundation is a registered Canadian non-profit society dedicated towards providing and facilitating the use of technology in order to achieve social change, civic development and free expression.
We are a group of dedicated researchers, advocates and policy experts that believe in the power of technology to change the world for the better. We lack political affiliation and are largely non-partisan. We are currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia and Toronto, Ontario.
We are descended from the original Wubim Foundation which fought for the same goals, and built around the foundations of the freedom of expression and the right to privacy. Our influences include the Cypherpunk movement and Hackerspaces.
